THE MARKET STRUMMERS

Established in 2012, and based in the back bar of a pub in Faversham, the Market Strummers are a self-styled bunch of “Cutting-Edge, Good-Time, Ukulele Songsters!”.

A regular fixture on local festival line ups for the best part of a decade, the Strummers are on a mission to educate, inform and entertain using only four strings and not many more chords.

From funk to post-punk (& most things between), we pride ourselves on throwing in more than the occasional oddball number into our musical sets.

And every few months we host Kent’s only regular Ukulele Open Mic Night on the stage of the Market Inn pub, drawing in ukulele talent from across the area to each play a few songs and have a real good time.
